A few years ago, I was invited to the launch of the European Academy of Religion in Bologna, alongside a delegation of my peers and Professor Mario Aguilar, Director of the University of St Andrews’ Centre for the Study of Religion and Politics.

The event brought together 500+ representatives from research centres, scholarly associations, universities, scientific journals, publishers, and other media outlets to discuss interfaith initiatives and collaborations across the European continent.

During a meeting with the Academy’s executive team, I proposed a content collaboration which resulted in my Ampersand production crew returning to Bologna to capture the Academy's impact through community interviews, photos, and other multimedia content.
